Recertifications: Keeping Your Safety Gear Compliant
At Simpson, we understand the importance of maintaining your safety equipment to ensure it meets the highest standards. Our recertification process is designed to help you stay compliant with industry regulations and maximize the performance of your gear.
Why Recertification Matters
SFI 38.1 head and neck restraints must be recertified every 5 years to retain their SFI certification. This ensures that your device continues to provide the protection you rely on. During the recertification process, each device undergoes a thorough inspection to guarantee it meets all safety standards.
What Happens After Inspection?
Devices that pass inspection will receive a new SFI 38.1 conformance sticker, marking the inspection date and confirming recertification for the next 5 years. If your device was certified in May 2018 or earlier, it is due for recertification by June 1, 2023.
How Long Does It Take?
Our standard recertification process typically takes 1 to 2 weeks, though seasonal delays may occur. For rush recertifications, please contact us at (800) 654-7223.
